SCHEME OF STUDY FOR HONS. IN B.COM IIND YEAR/ IIIRD YEAR EXAMINATION OF 2010

 

Any one of the following electives:-

1.

Business Finance and Accounting
Paper I: Financial Management (B.Com Second Year)
Paper II: Accounting Theory and Corporate Finance (B.Com Third Year)

2.

Marketing Management
Paper I: Marketing Management (B.Com Second Year)
Paper II: Advertising and Sales Management (B.Com Third Year)

 

FOOTNOTES

The following categories of the students shall be entitled to take the option of History and Culture of Punjab in lieu of Punjabi as a compulsory subject:-

(i)

Students who are not domiciled in Punjab and have not studied Punjabi upto Class 10th.

(ii)

Wards of Defence Personnel and Central Government employees who are transferable on all India basis.

(iii)

Foreigners

Environment Education is a qualifying paper which the students have to study in B.Com 1st year. The students are required to qualify this paper either in 1st year, 2nd year or 3rd year of the course. The exam is mandatory for students to clear to attain the degree of B.Com.

The college reserves the right to offer selected electives.

The course curriculam for the B Com and B Com Honours Programme are likely to be changed in the coming Academic Session.
