Working on the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo the college is in consistent pursuit of the mission of creating not only literate but learned individuals. As a part of this mission an Inter Section Subject Quiz (ISSQ) contest has been introduced during the current session for B.COM and B.B.A. First year. Subject wise rounds were conducted for respective courses. Questions were prepared giving adequate consideration to the varying academic caliber of the participants. The activity aimed at encouraging regular study, promote peer-tutoring, enthuse competitive spirit, arouse interest among students, enable revision and quick evaluation.

The series of Inter Section Subject Quiz contests were organized in two phases in the months of November, 2011 (Ist phase) and January, 2012 (IInd phase) at the College campus. Col. P.S. Choudhry, Director (Education) and Dr. R.L.Behl, Principal, lauded the efforts of faculty and students. The guest of honour, Mr. Neeraj Jain, Executive Director, Vardhman Textiles Ltd., gave away prizes to the winners and congratulated the college authorities and faculty for conceptualizing this distinct idea of conducting subject quiz. He sensitized the students with the value of continuous hard work.

Section A of B.COM.I won the ISSQ 2011-12. The highest scoring team was composed of three students from B.Com I (A) namely Aanchal Yash Paul, Harpreet kaur and Lakshay Jawahar Lal.
The students from Section B of BBAI won the ISSQ 2011-12. The highest scoring team was composed of three students from BBA I (B) namely Amarjit kaur, Yatish Gupta and Gangesh Batra.
